The Space
The Rumely Upper Level is one of Kansas City's most breathtaking event spaces — a soaring 6,500 square foot hall that has witnessed over a century of history. Originally constructed in the 1880s as part of the Rumely Company's agricultural equipment operations, the building's raw industrial bones have been lovingly restored into a venue unlike anything else in the region.
Original hardwood floors stretch the length of the hall, worn smooth by decades of use. Above, ornate tin ceilings catch the light from a collection of restored chandeliers, casting a warm glow across the space that no modern construction could replicate. Massive original windows line the walls, flooding the room with natural light during the day and framing the city skyline at night.
Whether you're hosting an intimate gathering of 50 or a grand celebration of 350, the Upper Level adapts beautifully — a blank canvas that takes on the personality of every event it hosts.
